The assets developer Andy Villarreal claimed he was advised this is the fantastic house for residences.
“I think it will convey back some individuals to Decatur, to dwell in Decatur,” Villarreal reported. “Who have moved to Madison or Huntsville that in fact operate close to Decatur but, cannot locate a good condominium that they want to dwell in, in Decatur. Seem we have a whole lot of residences but they’re 25 to 30 decades previous and some folks want a nicer up-to-date condominium with up-to-day features and anything else in it.”
Decatur Mayor Tab Bowling supported the final decision the council designed.
“The will need for residences in our town, we have not viewed apartments in the city in very some time,” reported Bowling. With all the development we’re observing in the region correct now from a residential standpoint we are observing a good deal of single household dwelling, but we will need multi spouse and children units. It was wonderful to see the council vote on that today. Absolutely everyone wants progress just not in there backyard.”

“The problem with this property when all the flood water operates off is that its heading to run off into the neighbors, which is a troubles in and of it self but, it also is heading to run out into the wetland so there is a enormous ecological problem,” Hoffmeier mentioned.
Hoffmeier stated she is concerned about the development affecting the area’s drinking drinking water, but Villarreal stated there will be absolutely no change to the consuming h2o due to the fact of the apartments.
