Most and least expensive apartments to rent in San Francisco

[ad_1]

As prices for renting soar across the country, the Bay Area has had some respite. Rents are still below pre-pandemic levels, though there’s no knowing how long that will last, especially amid a cooling housing market and rising interest rates.

We decided to take a look at what’s on the San Francisco rental market right now, searching for the cheapest and most expensive rentals right now on Craigslist. Here’s what we found.

The cheapest San Francisco rental is for a bed in a room within a co-living community. It’s a bunk bed specifically, though it’s unclear if it’s the top or the bottom that’s for rent.

The ad says the furnished room is part of a 21-unit building in SoMa on 7th Street near Folsom. Bathrooms are shared, as are the kitchen and other living spaces.

The most expensive rental right now is still the luxury apartment in the Four Seasons in SoMa we wrote about last month. I guess no one wants to pay $30,000 a month?

The runner-up is this three-bedroom penthouse in SoMa with a private rooftop.
