The mom of Gabby Petito has filed a wrongful dying lawsuit towards the estate of Brian Laundrie in the most recent legal motion stemming from the homicide.

In a civil lawsuit filed in Florida in March against Laundrie’s parents, Petito’s dad and mom alleged that Laundrie advised his parents he had killed Petito just before he returned home alone from their vacation and that his mom and dad were hoping to aid him flee.
Petito’s parents are searching for damages in excess of $30,000 in that complaint.
