However, perhaps this year, you want to cut back costs and find or make decorations that won’t break the bank but will still be a home improvement this festive season.

1. Paper Decorations

If you’re looking for inexpensive Christmas decorations, you can start with paper decorations. These are easy to make at home, there is a wide variety to choose from, and all you need is some paper! You can search on Youtube for videos on how to make the decorations, but the easiest would probably be Christmas trees which you can use for your table settings, and even some hanging paper stars, which you can hang all over the house! 

2. Candles

It is easy to find inexpensive candles and use them to make your house look warm and inviting this Christmas season. In addition, you can try and find candles scented with Christmas flavours. 

3. Glass Bottles

Another free and easy decoration hack for the festive season. Find any old glass bottles or jars you have, and put them to good use! You can use them as candle holders, put greenery in them and make them like vases, or even paint them.

Christmas crackers are ridiculously expensive, so why don’t you try to make your own instead this year? It will be much cheaper, and it’s better for the environment. You can also then choose what goes inside of them!
